What is Pilates?

I describe Pilates as a re-education of the body. A unique exercise regime designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body.

A movement based programme which targets the deep postural muscles which in turn can help re-balance the body bringing it into correct alignment leaving you feeling energised and stress free.

Regular practice of the specific Pilates exercises, along with focus on the breathing, has proven to have amazing results, not only for the moderate exerciser but to the elite athlete.
